Ösztöndíjak

A Bécsi Szent István Egylet ösztöndíja számánál és értékénél fogva a legrangosabb ösztöndíj, amelyet a Kárpát-medencében magyar nyelven a saját országukban tanuló középiskolás diákok elnyerhetnek.

A Báthory István Elméleti Líceum középiskolás tanulói 1991 óta nyerhetik el ezt az ösztöndíjat. Évente 30-35 diák részesül benne, pályázat útján. Az 1994-1995-ös tanévtől kezdődően minden, a Teodidaktos Alapítvány bentlakásaiban lakó báthorys diák pályázhat az ösztöndíjra.

A beérkezett pályázatokat az osztálynevelőkből álló ösztöndíj bizottság Csuka Róza tanárnő irányításával rangsorolja. A bentlakó diákok esetében Vizi Imre alapítványi elnök végzi ezt a feladatot. A végső döntést a Bécsi Szent István Egylet ösztöndíj bizottsága hozza meg.

Az ösztöndíjalapot az Egylet által évente farsangkor rendezett híres bécsi Szent István bál bevétele biztosítja, valamint magánszemélyek , akik egy-egy diák ösztöndíj költségét vállalják.

A 2012/2013-as tanévtől kezdve létrejött Összefogás-ösztöndíjat minden báthorys bentlakó diák alanyi jogon nyeri el. Ez az ösztöndíj a bentlakási költségek (szállás, étkezés) 50%-át fedezi, oly módon, hogy minden más ösztöndíj értékét megfelelően kiegészíti. Jelenleg ilyen ösztöndíjak a Szent István Egylet ösztöndíjai, a Márk-ösztöndíj ( Rónai Péter és Mónika, Budapest, 2003-tól létezik folyamatosan),a Badacsony-ösztöndíj (Nagy István és Enikő, Budapest, 2003-tól létezik folyamatosan), Lendvay-ösztöndíj (1996-tól létezik folyamatosan).

Az Összefogás-ösztöndíj pénzalapját a Báthory Líceum, a Szent Mihály Plébánia, a Lyceum Alapítvány és a Báthory Szülői Szövetség biztosítja.
